eva rose adakai was born, raised and educated in southern germany. she studied fine art, stage- and graphic design, and graduated with a diploma (BA). she worked for 10 years as a freelance graphic- and display designer in Germany. in the summer of 2008 she moved to new mexico, had silversmithing and kiln firing training, and created her first cosmic moth collection. unique jewelry creations inspired by the spirit of many cultures speaking the universal language of esthetic and beauty. ancient artifacts and roman/bactrian glass 230BC brought back to life with skill and imagination in her extraordinary jewelry collections.

the launch in manhattan's grand central gift fair was an instant success. today she continues to fuse her many and varied experiences and techniques into her “cosmic moth designs” incorporating rare semi-precious stones, handcrafted silver and bronze adornments, and artifacts from around the world. she presently lives and works in santa fe, nm, represented by several art galleries. eva is also a juried member of the santa fe artists market at the railyard.
