mary imagined a colorful addition to her collection. she was thinking of something in red and she also loves the ancient roman glass.

i designed a necklace and earrings for her with red branch coral and a large dark green roman glass piece in the center.

i layed out the design idea and emailed her the preview

mary gave me green light without any changes.the new creation immersed me into my repertoire of skills .the coral was drilled and connected with handcut silver links and "invisibly" attached to the hand sculpted silver bronze plates.the large roman glass center piece was a real challenge to connect, because of its shear size and height.i decided to sculpt the earrings entirely in fine silver to have little weight and best skin contact properties. the roman glass got cut into tiny beads and connected with the coral. i maintained the flow of the design by putting the earrings on posts.

i called mary for a fitting and we met in santa fe.

the new creation fit perfectly and mary could take her latest addition home with her right away.
